Busy, Busy, Busy

Time is flying so fast and I'm so busy I can't even begin to slow down. They are killing me at Christine's school with volunteer projects. This is a very busy time at school. I'm really looking forward to the break for Mardi Gras, they get the whole week off. Of course I have some serious house cleaning projects planned for that week. I'm really needing to get things in order around here and the kids owe me lots of working time. They both have debts to pay off. Christine broke her ipod touch and Adriana infected my computer with viruses. So, they have to work off the cost of repairs! I thought that was just genius and they need to know that things aren't free. I'm hoping to go to the all-day crop on the 20th. Anyone going? I will try to take and post pics of the last LO I did at the last crop this week. I have lots to catch up on. Have a fantastic week!

Update

Hello Sorry it has been a while since I posted. We were in Guatemala for a little over a week during New Years. We had a wonderful, relaxing trip in warm weather. We returned to the arctic and I got sick, yuck! Feeling better now although I'm still congested. Thankfully, I was the only one to get sick. The kids are doing great. They are taking ice skating lessons on Friday evenings and having a blast. Edwin is doing fine too. I haven't scrapbooked since Scrappin Chicks and I'm itching to get back to it. Unfortunately I have to wait another week. Hope to see some of my scrappin friends next Saturday at Co. Have a great weekend!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year I've finally made a few seconds to post. Sorry it has taken so long, the preparations for Christmas were a little overwhelming this year during recovery. The good news is...we had a wonderful, blessed Christmas with family and friends. I'm feeling much better but still not 100%. Now I'm putting the finishing touches on packing so we can head to Guatemala for New Year's. I wish you all a very Happy New Year's. Be safe and have fun. My Nemesis

Will it be the recliner, my back, or these binding garments. The reasons why...the recliner is the only place I can sit or sleep for at least another week. The very site of it makes me think of starting a huge bonfire! My back because I have to walk hunched over like I'm 90 with severe osteoporosis. The binding garments because it feels and looks like they stuffed 2 lbs. of sausage into a 1 lb. casing. Not the most comfortable thing I've ever worn. I must say this was the first time in my life I wanted to stay longer in the hospital. But, I'm doing well and getting stronger each day. Watch out Chicks here I come...

I can't wait until Scrappin' with the Chicks tomorrow! I'm not organized or packed, of course! I can do that when I get there, I'll just throw every thing in the big black bus and worry about the organizing later. It's going to be a great weekend, can't wait to see everyone. Meet my "Grandson"

Those of you who know me know it's not really my grandson....it's my nephew's new baby. But, my newphew is like a son to me so it's my grandson. I fully intend to spoil him as though he's my grandson. Jacob Jenri (Henry in spanish) was born yesterday, Oct. 15, at 6:05 pm. He weighs 8 lbs. and is 20 in. long. He is SO sweet and just gorgeous. He and Mom are both doing excellent. She is so sweet and going to be an awesome mother. I'm so happy to have a new member in the family, who could resist...he's so sweet!!

This is Jennifer and Jacob. Can you believe how great she looks less than 24 hrs. after delivery!?!

Gift Album

I bought an album kit that included all papers, stickers, die-cuts, and the album. I wanted to make an album for my nephew's fiancee'. She is about to have a baby (it's a boy). I didn't want to make a traditional baby album (that's her job), just something she could quickly put the pics from the hospital, etc. in. I wanted something cute, but quick and easy. This was it!!! All you do is adhere a strip of PP and the photo mat and then embellish as you wish. I added buttons, brads, and ribbon from my stash to complete the LOs. Did the entire album in about 1 1/2 hours. Now if I could just do mine that quickly!
